oryt there
i have a peugeot speedfight wrc 307 05 plate i have got a gianelli sports pipe on it 4.4 gram rollers and a new clutch and when i pulled away it took 4-5 for the revs to kick in and go,i took my carb off yesterday and found that the standard main jet in my ped is a 50 so i went out and got a 60 and fitted it and now it is better but still not straight away acceleration, now its like 1-2 seconds so i thought ill go and swap it for a 70, anyway i got the 70 home and the ped wouldnt even pull away which made me bit annoyed so went back to the shop and got a 62, fitted the 62 and that was fine but when it kicks in it like splutters, i dont know weather to go back down to a 60 or try one of those malossi red sponges which go inside the air filter, what do u think???
cheers adam

Hi,

I have a '99 Piaggio Zip SSL25 bought from Germany, and originally was restricted to 30km/h , i took the variator ring down, and also put a new variator instead, changed the torque spring, and bought a new piston kit, and a bigger carb the old one was a 12mm dellorto and I mounted a 15mm bgm ( dellorto copy) with new unrestricted intake manifold. And now it reaches 55km/h ... What is wrong with it? I cheked the exaust is not restricted, the intake, I also changed the ignition... and the battery also... and the sparkplug... Where is the restriction?

A friend of mine bought one from Italy took the variator ring down and changed the ignition and it runs with 85km/h

Please help !
